Speaking Feedback Date : 21th April, 2016 Speaker: Jayne Yoo Evaluator: Juyeon Lee Title : The Perfect Vacation Plan
1. What strong points does the speaker have? Pronunciation, Eye contact and the content of the speech.
2. How well did the audience get to know the speech subject? I think most of the audience got it. She delivered her speech quite well.
3. Did the speech reflect adequate preparation? Yes. She seemed to prepare pretty much.
4. Did the speaker talk clearly and audibly? Yes. I could understand the whole speech without any difficulties.
5. Did the speech have a definite opening, body, and conclusion? I think the opening was good. She suggested a specific number, which makes the speech nicer. I think body was quite long, which can make audience bored. Conclusion was okay but too short comparing to opening.
6. Please comment on the speaker’s use of notes/eye contact. She tried to keep eye contact with the audience, which was very good.
7. What could the speaker have done differently that would have improved the speech? There were some fillers such as "um" between the words. You should try to not say them. Voice was good but it would be great if you speak a bit louder.
8. What did you like about the presentation? It was informative. But not enough for me to book a flight abroad.

The whole speech was well organized. Started with question in opening to grab the audience' attention and interesting rich body content, used a quotation to leave the audience with a memorable thought. Also, presenter made proper use of posture and movement, including opportune eye contact. All in all, the presentation is impressive.
